Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim 2013

July is the month when the warm sands of Miami beach turn into a fashion runway every year for the annual Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim event, which descends on the beautiful South beaches of Florida.

The swimwear industry's most anticipated event took place as usual at the The Raleigh Hotel - the official host of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim, providing a picture perfect backdrop with its understated elegance and art-deco grandeur. The very popular and favorite hotel pool, which has been named as one of the sexiest pools in America was tuned into a catwalk and social scene for some of the world's biggest models, editors, photographers and fashion fans.

The week long event that got under way on 19 July with a packed schedule of culinary treats, champagne, stunning cars, sizzling models, makeovers by Mary Kay and alcohol infused cup cakes among others concluded on 23 July. 

And now, while the organizers are packing up the tents, the models are getting on planes and fashion elites are coming out of their hangovers, we bring you a video presantation of the event (above) as well as some of the stunning snaps from the event (on the following pages.)
