Go racing like a pro as Lewis Hamilton and NASCAR champion Tony Stewart steer you from rookie to pro racing driver.
Now that the 2012 motorsports season is well on track, Mobil 1 – one of the official sponsors for NASCAR and also a technology partner of Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 team – is offering fans across the globe a chance to join in on the action with its new online game: Mobil 1 Racing Academy.
As the name implies, you get this unique opportunity to go racing from beginning as a rookie and gradually working your way to top honors, all under the guidance of 2008 Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton and three-time NASCAR champion, Tony Stewart.
The game starts off pretty tame, giving players a good idea of how to play with an easy tutorial. Both the drivers have three levels of competition: pick Hamilton as your mentor and you’ll have to get into grips with karting, followed by Formula 3 and Formula 1 races. Step into the shoes of Tony Stewart and you will progress from midget cars, to IndyCar and then to NASCAR.
