We preview the new urban MPV backed by its trustworthy badge that will arrive in India next month.
It all started with Maruti Suzuki showcasing a radical MPV study, known then as the R-III Concept, at the 2010 Auto Expo in New Delhi. 24 months later, the India's largest carmaker was back with a big bang at the 2012 Auto Expo with its all new MPV in its production-ready form, and with a name - the Ertiga. Undoubtedly, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga was one of the biggest show stoppers at the 11th edition of the Auto Expo held at Delhi's Pragati Maidan and is now the much awaited product that will roll out of MSIL’s stables soon.

Knowing Maruti Suzuki's penchant for producing and selling vehicles, which appeal to a large chunk of audience and the company's passion of acquiring the status of the market leader across all segments, we expect the Ertiga MPV to be a game changer in the Indian automobile industry. But since there quite some time before we can judge exactly how successful the MPV is, let us first look at what we can expect from the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.

Next stop: Africa. Tough cookie, this one.
