The iPhone 5 has been shown and while the Apple fanboys in our office are hooked to the updates and reviews on our sister site BGR.in, we take a look at the pros and cons of the new iPhone from the perspective of a motorist. After all, iPhone-compatibility has become a necessity now for most premium or feature-rich cars. Let us take you through our initial impressions then, until we get a chance to take the iPhone 5 out on one of our roadtrips.
Let us begin with the negatives:

Nano-SIM
The micro SIM-card form factor that was introduced by the Apple iPhone 4 may not be a common sight in India yet – but it is already on its way out, thanks to the iPhone 5’s nano-SIM form factor. Apple has made clear that the new phone will not support any other SIM card technology and therefore your ambitions to switch to the iPhone 5 in India could be postponed till the services providers decide to embrace the new tech.
