2012 Beijing Auto Show - Range Rover Evoque SE with Victoria Beckham launched

Land Rover had announced a 'Victoria Beckham' special edition of the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque last year, which has finally made its official debut the on-going 2012 Beijing Auto Show. The ex-Spicegirl, Victoria Beckham who was herself involved in designing the special edition Evoque unveiled the model at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, China.

The 38-year old pop star turned award winning fashion designer is behind the powerful and sporty stand of the special edition Evoque. It comes with a matte hand-painted finish, 20-inch wheels with rose gold accents, a hand stitched tan semi-aniline leather interior, a bespoke four-piece luggage set, an 825 watt 17 speaker Meridian sound system. Under the hood, is a 2.0-litre engine that churns out 237PS of power.

"I am very excited to be working with Land Rover as I have an enormous amount of respect for the brand. I've always driven a Range Rover, for me they are the epitome of quality and luxury." said an ecstatic Mrs Victoria Beckham at the launch event. 

The Range Rover Evoque special edition with Victoria Beckham will come with a price tag close to 79,995 euros (or Rs 55 lakh approximately). The model will initially be launched in China and will be seen in the global market by 2013. Deliveries of the SE Evoque in China will begin in October 2012. Only 200 of the Victoria Beckham-designed special edition cars will be available worldwide.
