2013 BMW X6 facelift photos revealed

The 2013 X6 gets cosmetic updates and a new M Performance Package.

BMW has revealed the first official pictures and details of its updated 2013 BMW X6, which features a number of minor cosmetic updates and the addition of the M Performance package that provides the additional oomph in the popular crossover.

Up front, the BMW X6 gets a restyled grille, front clip, fog lamps and new headlights. Adaptive LED headlights are a new option for the MY 2013, while the high-intensity discharge headlights will come as standard. At the back, the X6 carries restyled light clusters with two horizontal LED glowing bars. Exterior paint color range gets wider with the addition of two non-metallic and nine metallic colors. A new 19-inch alloy wheel has been added to the model and comes as standard. Inside the cabin, everything remains unchanged except for the new option made available for new leather upholstery and a three-seat bench. Cosmetic updates made for the M Performance Package include black chrome exhaust tips, stainless steel pedals, 20-inch wheels and a Carbon Black metallic paint option.

The engines on offer with the new 2013 BMW X6 are a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder twin-turbo engine, a 4.4-litre V8 engine and a twin-turbo 4.4-litres V8 engine. The M Performance engine package includes an engine upgrade of +15PS of power and +30Nm of torque on the X6xDrive35i and an increase of +40PS of power and 30Nm of torque on the X6xDrive50i.
BMW had launched the X6 in 2008 and since then the vehicles has racked up sales of over 1,50,000 units worldwide.
