The convertible version of the GT Speed will make it's official debut at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.
The first images of the 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible have been leaked on to the Internet, ahead of it's official debut at the upcoming 2013 Detroit Auto Show next month. The new images of the Convertible version have arrived a few months after the 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed was launched at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

In terms of design, the Bentley Continenetal GT Speed Convertible sports few changes that include a dark-tinted matrix front grille and lower air intakes and the 'rifled' finish to the exhaust tailpipes. On the inside, the Mulliner Driving Specification comes as standard as well as a number of signature Speed design cues that combine contemporary luxury with a distinctly sporting character.

Like it's hardtop cousin, the GT Speed Convertible will be powered by a 6.0-litre turbocharges, W12 engine that is rated at 620PS and 800Nm. The engine is mated to a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission and drives all four-wheels via a Torsen center differential. The 0 to 100 km/h mark is reached in 5.0 seconds with a top speed of 322 km/h.

For the chassis, Bentley engineers have increased the width of the track, sharpened up the steering and lowered the suspension by 10 millimeters compared to the outgoing model. The all-wheel-drive settings have also been made rear-biased. The GT Speed Convertible stands on a unique set of 21-inch alloy wheels and come shod with Pirelli P Zero ultra high-performance tyres.
