The big brother of Fiat 500 will become the world's first production car to feature an in-car coffee maker.

The 2012 Fiat 500L that was first showcased at this year's Geneva Motor Show, following a string of leaked images and information has once again created quite a buzz with its one-of-a-kind feature that has been spotted in the list of options that will accompany the model when it is launched in the European market by October 2012.

In a world's first, the Fiat 500L production version will feature an in-car built-in espresso coffee machine! The mini coffee maker is positioned right between the front seats and is plugged into its very own power source. Developed by the Italian coffee maker Lavazza, the 'Coffee Experience' kit comes with car coffee cups, a spoon holder and its own sugar container.

So, whenever you need a caffeine jolt, all you got to do is fill the Lavazza base with water and pop it into the center upholder. The heating element boils the water, steeping the coffee-filled pod in the top part and seconds later, you get a hot cup of Italy's finest.

The one Italian word that is understood all over the word is 'espresso.' The country wouldn't be the same, probably couldn't even function the way it does, without the millions of small cups of the powerful brew Italians drink everyday.

And while, the Italian automaker Fiat indeed has the best interest in mind of trying to work a major Italian cultural cue into its 500L, purists may be upset at the how the in-car espresso machine could disrupt the Italian espresso ritual. An unwritten rule is that espresso must be consumed standing up.

While, the folks in Europe will definitely get the Fiat 500L with the 'Coffee Experience' kit when it is launched in October, the same is not likely to work out in the U.S and the Canadian market, due to safety regulations and potential lawsuits over burns and distracted driving that are bound to run rampant and ruin the cars credibility. It is not certain as of now, if Fiat will consider getting the 500L into the Indian market. But if they do, we sure do hope that the 'Coffee Experience' kit too, arrives in the country along with the car.
