The Fiat Linea facelift shows itself on the web through photos taken at Fiat’s Turkey plant.

The Fiat Linea may have been recently updated in India with some segment-first features like automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers – however, in the Turkish market the Linea has undergone a significant facelift. As you can see in the images, the front fascia now boasts of an all new grille and is laden with lots of chrome. The new bumper looks busier than the current model with the chrome garnish, the new lines and the aerodynamic winglets.

News is that the new 2013 Fiat Linea is now being produced at the Fiat plant in Turkey and therefore the official photos of the facelift sedan could be just a days away. However, after looking at what Fiat and Chrysler managed with the Dodge Dart – The Linea facelift that you see in the photos is rather disappointing. In fact we feel that the new Linea tries too hard with the new design and has lost the elegance on the original in the process.
We don’t see the Linea facelift coming to India anytime soon, especially since the model has been recently upgraded in India. However, the new Linea could make its way into other developing markets like Russia and South America where Fiat has a better market presence as compared to its foothold India.
