Introduced back in 2005, the Continental Flying Spur is the more luxurious, four-door variant of the Continental GT coupe. The Flying Spur has been a grand success for the British carmaker however; the 8 year old model was long overdue for a refresh. With the all-new, Mulsanne inspired looks and an even more luxurious cabin, the 2014 Continental Flying Spur is more refined and sophisticated than ever.

Design wise, the front end is pretty much the same as the current model, with the twin headlights and chrome grille featuring subtle tweaks. It’s at the rear end where the most dramatic change in the new Flying Spur can be found in the form of the sloping boot and a new set of tail lamps.

Under the hood sits a twin-turbo, 6-litre W12 engine, churning out 625PS of power and 800Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a ZF eight-speed transmission with paddle shifters, which channel power to all four wheels via an advanced all-wheel drive system.

Inside, the cabin retains a rich combination of exquisite leather and polished wood with the latest in driver technology and in-car connectivity. Featuring a built-in wi-fi hotspot, dedicated 10-inch TV screens at the back besides a 1100W Naim premium sound system, the new Continetal Flying Spur promises to live up to its family tradition of unprecedented quality, comfort, luxury and safety.
