2013 Skoda Rapid for Europe officially revealed

After tons of teaser images, Skoda has finally released first images of the European Rapid ahead of its debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
After teasing the highly awaited 2013 Skoda Rapid for the European market over the past two months, Skoda has now officially revealed the first images of the upcoming sedan. First seen in concept form at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show, the European Skoda Rapid will make its official debut in production form at the upcoming 2012 Paris Motor Show in September.
The European Rapid's clean and more elegant design from ground up has been inspired from the stunning MissionL concept and shows a new direction in terms of design language for Skoda's future models. It dons rectangular headlights and fog-lights coupled with a new grille and a simple winged arrow logo. The five-seater Rapid measures 4,4800mm in length and 1,700mm in widhth.
In the European market, the new Skoda Rapid will be positioned between the Skoda Fabia and the Octavia and is expected to go on sale by October 2012.
