The new Beetle Convertible has been revealed in 1:43 scale ahead of its official debut at the 2012 Los Angeles Motor Show.
The future generation of the Volkswagen Beetle Converible has been unofficially revealed in a 1:43 scale model form, ahead of its official public debut at the 2012 Los Angeles Motor Show.
The 1:43 scale version of the drop top Beetle was made by German toy maker Schuco Modell and reveals plenty of retro-inspired touches from the alloy wheels to the roof folded on to the rear deck.

The scale model is being offered on sale on the web as the "Dealer Edition 1/43 2013 VW Beetle Cabriolet Convertile" in a choice of three shades - Light Blue, Black and White.
The 2013 Volkswagen Beetle is expected to go on sale in the United States later this year with a choice of three engine options, a 1.2-litre TSI, a 1.4-litre TSI and a more potent 200PS 2.0-litre turbocharged engine.

After its launch in the United States, the 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible is expected to arrive in the Indian market as well to rival the Mini Cooper Convertible.
