Only 500 units of the compact crossover will be offered in the second phase as well.

Audi Q3 bookings to reopen by end of this month

The Audi Q3 became an instant hit in the Indian market that is obsessed with SUVs and premium brands. The competitively priced compact crossover is the cheapest Audi in India and comes with Audi’s renowned Quatro (all-wheel-drive) system. The Q3 is priced a notch higher than the BMW X1, but offers a much better overall package.

At the time of the launch Audi announced that only 500 units of this crossover will be offered initially, along with a ad campaign targeting young buyers. The strategy worked well for Audi and all 500 units of the Q3 were sold-out in 5 days, with inquiries still pouring in. This is quite an achievement for a car with a starting price of Rs 26.21 lakh. Audi has now confirmed that the second phase of bookings for the Q3 will open by the end of this month.

Once again Audi will offer only 500 units of the Q3 as it currently comes to India as CBU (Completely Built Unit). Audi has also confirmed that the CKD operation will begin from Aurangabad facility soon, which might further reduce the Q3 prices.
