Audi India launches the much awaited compact crossover, the Q3 at a starting price of Rs 26.21 lakh; will rival the BMW X1.
Audi has silently launched the Q3 compact crossover in India for a starting price of Rs 26.21 lakh for the base grade. The high grade model has been priced at Rs 31.41 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai.) The Audi Q3 will be available initially with all the bells and whistles in two trim levels and will be avaiable across all 19 Audi dealerships in India. Only 500 of Audi Q3s will be available for bookings in the first lot.
Under the hood will be the familiar 2.0 TDi Quattro diesel engine, which churns out 177PS of power and 380 Nm of torque. As we mentioned, this is the top end version of the Q3 and therefore the engines are mated to Audi's S-tronic gearbox and the Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The Q3 will go head on against the BMW X1 on the price bracket and the Range Rover Evoque in terms of size and equipment. Click here to know more about the features, specs, photos, review and other details of the Audi Q3.

“The launch of the Audi Q3 is in line with our top-down strategy for India. The Q3 is immediately recognizable as the youngest member of the Audi Q family. Now we are starting the next chapter of our success story: As a true luxury SUV, the Audi Q3 leads the way for the Four Rings to enter a new segment in India, with ever increasing customer groups demanding for luxury mobility in a compact form. Every aspect of the Q3 showcases Audi technology – the body, the drivetrain, the chassis and the assistance and multimedia systems. Many of these elements come directly from the luxury class. At present, only 500 Audi Q3’s will be available for initial booking. We are confident that Audi Q3 will repeat the success of Audi Q5 and Audi Q7 and further consolidate our leadership position in the luxury SUV segment“, said Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India.
