BMW to show the concept at Shanghai Auto Show

The wraps are officially off and this is what BMW’s next sports-car-in-a-business-suit will look like. The new F10 BMW M5 is all set to debut at Frankfurt Motor Show this year and BMW has released images of the Concept M5, which it plans to showcase in Shanghai this month. Although BMW calls it a concept, the car looks like the real deal and all the design bits look like they will make it to the production version. Although the bodylines are similar to the 5 Series sedan, the M5 will feature sportier bumpers with large air dams to channel air in to the engine bay and also aid aerodynamics of the car. The rear features quad exhausts, just like the current M5. The biggest difference though is under the hood. The new M5 won’t have the current model’s Formula 1-inspired V10 lump. Instead, it will get a high revving V8, twin-turbocharged to produce power in excess of 500PS.
