Build and race your own RC car as Red Bull Racing Can 2012 is here!

Having received a great response in 2011, the second edition of Red Bull Racing Can is all set to whiz across the corridors of many colleges in India. The one-of-its-kind event challenges both an engineers’ genius and petrol-heads nerves as budding college students are compelled to design and race their own RC cars but wait! There’s a catch; though the teams will given the chassis, they'll have to develop the bodywork from old Red Bull cans!

The Red Bull Racing Can is a college racing series where teams compete in each city. It is a worldwide event, where 24 teams compete per location on a set course with custom-made remote control cars. But to ensure fair play, the chassis of all cars are the same. However, the bodywork is to be designed and made of Red Bull cans. 

The Red Bull Racing Can will travel to Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata with the national finals taking place next month in Mumbai. The winning team of the national finals will then represent India at the global finals during the Brazilian Grand Prix, at Sao Paulo.
