Report says a Rs. 5,000 discount is being offered on the segment leading hatchback.
Market slowdown is a dangerous thing! So to overcome this state of inactivity in the market (and low sales, of course), car makers are trying to sell their cars at discounted prices. And it's not the small players in the market, it's the leading manufacturers who are doing so.

Earlier we reported about Maruti Suzuki's offer on the Swift diesel and Ritz (instant delivery and huge discount respectively) and now according to Economic Times, the company is providing a flat corporate discount of Rs. 5000 and zero waiting period on the Swift Diesel. And even the dealers aren't in a mood to miss the opportunity of turning the prospective buyers into proper customers. The same reports suggests that dealers are offering cash discounts of up to Rs. 10,000 on certain variants of Dzire too.

While the company hasn't made any official announcement yet, our sources have revealed that some dealers are also running a scheme under which the customers can get surprise gift on buying one of the Maruti Suzuki vehicles. This offer is valid from March 21 (today) till March 31. The surprise gifts include LED TV, Tablet phone, music player and accessories worth up to Rs 40,000.
Thanks Economic Times for the update!
