FIA president Jean Todt visits Mumbai to promote road safety

Mr. Todt along with Raymond CMD Gutam Singhania, participated in the Road Safety Week.

Former Ferrari CEO and current President of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), Mr. Jean Todt is in the city to promote FIA’s global campaign for road safety. As a part of the safety campaign, Mr. Todt was seen speaking to the state transport officials of Maharashtra about the unfavorable infrastructure across the state and the possible measures to be taken to make the roads a safer place for both motorists and pedestrians.
Gautam Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director of the Raymond group, hosted the President of the FIA at Raymond’s flagship store on Friday. On the occasion, Mr. Todt said, “India is developing as a country and there is obviously a increase in the enthusiasm from people towards the super cars of the world. It’s great to see Mr. Singhania, who is so passionate about motorsports to take this initiative and fulfill dreams of thousands to be able to witness the best cars in the world on the streets of India.”
Earlier, the duo participated in the Road Safety Week, which was carried out by Western India Automobile Association (WIAA).
