The new 2013 Fluence sedan could be revealed at the upcoming Paris Motor Show in September.

The Renault Fluence, in spite of boasting a slightly unconventional design, is one elegant looking car. Ever since it was introduced last year here in India, the big French saloon has been getting positive reviews for its elegant albeit understated looks. However, the Fluence has been around the international market for about three years now and the design has been nearly left unchanged all the while; which is why Renault is working on an updated version of the car, as can be seen from the spy pictures of the face lifted version being tested on the roads of Romania.

The facelift might be more than just a different set of headlamps or taillights given all the camouflage on the test car. The Fluence in fact, will feature a completely different front-end design, including new bumper, headlamps, grille and fog-lamp design. At the back too, the car will get a restyled bumper and perhaps, an all-new taillight design.
The facelifted Fluence should be ready for a global debut at this year’s Paris Motor Show in September with sales scheduled to begin in first quarter of 2013. Renault might even consider launching the new Fluence in India soon after it's global launch.
