Fiat Grande Punto 90HP Sports to launch on 18 May

Fiat India seems to have a lot going on this year. At the 2012 Auto Expo, Fiat launched the 2012 model year Fiat Punto and Linea and remained tight-lipped about its plans for the rest of the year. They even said that the company does not have any plans to launch any variant of product in 2012 and will only concentrate on brand building and expanding service networks.

Considering, Fiat's recent break up of distribution pact with Tata Motors, we were certain that the Italian automaker wouldn't be in the mood of churning out any thing interesting this year. Well, guess we were wrong!

Fiat India has just announced to launch a Limited Edition Fiat Punto 90HP Sports this Friday, i.e. 18 May 2012.The launch will take place to coincide with the opening of the second Fiat Caffe in Koregaon Park Pune. The country's first Fiat Caffe was launched in January in New Delhi's Tolstoy Marg.

The sporty hatch will be offered in three colour options - Black, White and Red - and will set you back by an additional Rs 50,000 to Rs 70,000 over the standard Punto 90HP.
