Fiat India is on an aggressive revamping drive in the country following its split up with Tata Motors earlier this year. From launching the new 2012 models of the Linea and the Punto to opening Fiat Caffes in the country to inaugurating the first exclusive service workshop in Pune last week, the Italian automaker seems to be strong headed in cementing a new successful chapter in the Indian auto industry.
And the latest addition being made to the company's aggressive strategy for India is the announcement of special edition models of its Linea and Punto cars called 'Absolute.'

The SE Absolute Linea and Punto will be officially launched later in the month and will be offered on sale during the soon approaching festive season with a host of new features and upgrades.
The limited Absolute Edition models will offer a new satellite navigation in form of a tablet called the 'Car Pad' that runs on Android 2.3 OS and will offer 3D maps. Other features include contoured mudguards, new beige carpets and 'Absolute' branded door sills and seat covers. The Absolute Edition Linea will also feature a reverse parking sensor and chrome strip at the rear. Furthermore, the Italian carmaker is also throwing in goodies like 50 per cent free insurance and Roadside Assistance.
The Special Edition models can be had at the same price as the regular models and will be offer on all trim levels, i.e. Active, Dynamic and Emotion.
