The 3.0-litre 4X4 All Terrain edition model has been priced at Rs 19.11 lakh.
Back in December 2012, we had reported that Ford is readying a mild facelift to its flagship SUV, the Endeavour - that will make way into the Indian market before an all-new model based on the new Ford Ranger pick-up replaces the current-generation Endeavour or 'Everest' as it is better known in the international market.
And rightly so, Ford India has rolled out the Endeavor All Terrain Edition into the country today at Rs 19.11 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), which has been packed with some new features.
Cosmetic wise, the Ford Endeavour SE features a new grille and decal, redesigned headlights with chrome and 16-inch chrome plated alloy wheels. On the inside, the new edition model has been adorned with new features such as steering column mounted audio controls, new Majestic Molten Metal colour interiors, Reverse Parking Camera, a new Touch Screen GPS-enables SATNAV system, Electronic Shift on the fly 4X4 automatic transmission and new One Touch Up/Down Power Windows to name a few.
Under the hood is the 3.0-litre diesel powerplant, which produces 156PS of max power and 380Nm of peak torque. Engine is mated to a 5-Speed automatic transmission, while the power is supplied to all four-wheels.
This is the second special edition of the Endeavour SUV in the company portfolio after the Endeavour Hurricane Limited Edition.
