The facelifted hatch is expected to sport new features & tons of visual changes.
While the next generation Ford Figo (codenamed B562) is being worked on from ground up in Brazil and is expected to be ready by 2014, Ford India has been readying a facelifted model of its bet selling small car in the country - the test mules of which were snagged on two occasions - one showed off the redesigned rear of the hatch, while the other revealed the new front-end.
And now the American automaker has made if official that the company will roll out the 2012 Ford Figo Facelift in the Indian market on October 16, just in time for the festive season.
We expect the facelifted model to feature new taillights, headlamps, newly designed turn blinkers, new fog lamps and slightly redesigned bumpers.
On the inside, the 2012 Ford Figo is expected to get a push-button starter like the one found in the Nissan Micra, Renault Pulse and the Hyundai i20. We also expect the new Figo to sport some fresh exterior colour options.
Once launched the Ford Figo Facelift will compete with the recently updated Maruti Suzuki Swift and the Hyundai i20.
Stay tuned to OnCars.in as we bring you all the latest news and information about the 2012 Ford Figo, as we inch closer to its launch.
