We typically do not see Ford doing a whole lot of marketing initiatives for its brand new models but with such long-awaited car as the EcoSport, the carmaker is all set to give the compact SUV all the limelight it can get.
Now, with the EcoSport nearing its launch, we are getting our first look at Ford’s marketing direction for its high volume compact SUV. The new “EcoSport Urban Discoveries” is company’s single largest product experiential pre-launch campaign in India. Through the campaign, Ford is not only giving its potential customers an opportunity to drive the EcoSport before the official launch, but also giving away a host of prizes including a spanking new EcoSport!

The “EcoSport Urban Discoveries” focuses on how well a participant is accustomed to his/her own city. Those looking to participate will have to discover a place or places which are unique, uncommon and interesting in their respective cities, upload them on www.ecosportdiscoveries.co.in with descriptions and finally share them through social networking sites.
For the second phase of the campaign, the selected 35 best entrants will be allowed to add two more members to form their team of three. Each of these teams will get the key to their Ford EcoSport that will help them in their quest for urban discoveries, in their respective cities. The whole experience will be captured in videos and will run on the online platform. The teams will continue gathering followers in order to remain in the consideration of finally winning the grand prize. The leader of the team who gathers maximum followers, stimulates and engages them in best possible way to amplify their urban discoveries, wins and drives home an EcoSport and his/her team members will win international holiday packages.
You can head over to www.ecosportdiscoveries.co.in to participate and know more about the campaign.
