The first spy pics of the Brio AT have been snagged in Chennai; expected to launch by mid-October 2012.
Just two weeks back, we reported the Honda is gearing up to roll out the Brio automatic variant in the Indian market next month and today we have the first clear spy shots of the hatchback that is expected to give tough competition to the likes of Hyundai i10 and the Maruti Suzuki A-Star.
The first images of the Brio AT seen here were snagged in Chennai by a member called 'Mr Ace' of Gearheads.in, at what appears to be a parking lot outside a dealership.
Apart from the Automatic gearbox that is seen in the image, the other important bit to notice is the alloys and the fog lamps - that clearly hints that the automatic option could be offered on the top-end variant of the hatchback.

The Japanese carmaker already offers an automatic version of the hatch with a 4-Speed CVT in the Thailand and Indonesian market and we expect the same unit to feature in the India-spec Brio AT too. In the Indian market, the Brio AT is expected to attract an additional Rs 50,000-Rs 75,000 over the manual version.
The Honda Brio Automatic hatchback is expected to be launched in India by mid-October 2012 - in time for the festive season, while the media preview of the model has been scheduled to get underway in the first week of October.
So, as usual stay tuned to OnCars as we bring you all the details and the first drive review of your favorite Honda hatchback.
