The Brio Automatic is slated to grace the Indian market by mid-October; details revealed.
Honda Cars India Ltd (HCI) is gearing up to roll out the Honda Brio Automatic variant in the Indian market. While, speculations are still rife about the Brio diesel, Honda has decided to slip in the Automatic version of its bread and butter hatchback.
Though the exorbitant petrol prices have already taken a toll on the sales of petrol cars, Honda is still going ahead with yet another petrol variant in its line up. Possibly, because automatic hatchbacks are still in demand due to the added convenience that they offer over their manual counterparts.

We expect the AT version of the Brio to be offered in 'E' and 'S' variants. The top of the line 'V' variant could be omitted from the Automatic line up as that would make the proposition too expensive for the segment Brio hatchback caters to.
The Brio Automatic will take on cars like the Hyundai i10 Automatic and the Maruti Suzuki A-Star Automatic once it goes on sale in the country.
The Honda Brio Automatic hatchback will be launched in India by mid-October 2012 - in time for the festive season, while the media preview of the model has been scheduled to get underway in the first week of October. So, as usual stay tuned to OnCars as we bring you all the details and the first drive review of your favorite Honda hatchback.
