Available only in the "V" trim, it gets a retuned engine and a 2-year warranty
Now with fuel prices going high and lack of diesel engine in Honda's line-up, the only way you can still enjoy the Honda reliability and engines is by using alternative fuels. And CNG seems to be a very feasible option

And that's why Honda has launched a CNG-ready variant of the City.
Over the purchase price of the CNG ready V variant, a CNG kit can be had for another Rs.50,200 plus installation. The car comes with a slightly modified engine (same unit as the Petrol City: 1.5-litre 4-cylinder iVTEC) and reworked suspension so as to make the driving experience similar to that of a petrol City.
The CNG kit can be fitted at all of the 45 Honda dealerships in a total of 28 cities, where CNG is available. To take care of the apprehension of getting something retrofitted, Honda is offering a 2 year warranty to the buyers. Since the City CNG is available only in V grade, safety features such as Anti-lock Braking System, Dual SRS Airbags, seat belt pretensioners come as standard.
The CNG ready Honda City is available at Rs. 9,03,800 ex-showroom New Delhi. CNG kit, like mentioned above, will cost extra.
