Honda offering discounts on its bread and butter cars

Honda cars are still a preferred choice when it comes to petrol powered vehicles. But that said, petrol cars themselves are suffering from a never-seen-before slowdown and therefore we are seeing a lot of discounts and schemes cropping up every other day on petrol cars – more so with the festive season drawing closer.

Honda Cars India therefore, is now offering attractive insurance schemes not only on their bread and butter cars, but also on their luxury wares. The Brio hatchback and the City, Civic and Accord sedans can now be had with a Re 1 insurance programme. The actual value of the insurance for the aforementioned cars can lie between Rs 10,000 to Rs 60,000!

Honda is also offering new loyalty bonus schemes. So if you are the type who doesn’t necessarily need a diesel vehicle and are planning to upgrade from your current petrol powered Honda car to another Honda product, then the carmaker will give you additional discounts over and above the buy-back value of your current car.

There is still no concrete information on when the Brio diesel will be launched – however, the company officials told us that it is still to early to talk about the diesel hatchback or even the CNG powered City for that matter.
