Hyundai Elantra Fluidic gathered 750 bookings even before its launch

Hyundai India rolled in its all-new 2012 Hyundai Elantra Fluidic into the Indian market today at a ridiculously insane price of Rs 12.51 lakh for the base petrol variant and Rs 12.91 lakh for the base diesel variant. (ex-showroom, New Delhi.)

The feature-rich sedan coupled with the stunning adaptation of the Fluidic design philosophy, we already knew that the Elantra Fluidic is highly potent to grab the leader position in its segment. However, post launch and the announcement of the ex-showroom prices in New Delhi, there is no doubt that this new stallion from Hyundai is on its way to pull a "Verna" for the company.

Further cementing our thoughts is the company's announcement made during the launch event in the capital, stating that the company has already gathered 750 bookings from its dealers across India. And this, was when the customers had no idea about the pricing or even the variants that will be offered! 

Looks like the Volkswagen Jetta, Toyota Corolla Altis, Chevrolet Cruze, Renault Fluence and the Skoda Laura need to put back on their thinking caps.
