Offers prospective customers discounts on Hyundai petrol cars alongside existing offers.

The record price hike for petrol was announced recently and it has attracted expected ire and protests across the nation. There may or may not be roll back, but irrespective of what happens, Hyundai has already gone ahead and announced a ‘Petrol Price Lock Assurance’ for prospective customers of its petrol cars.
While the details provided so far are sketchy, we have learnt that Hyundai will offer discounts on its petrol cars like the Eon, Santro, i10, i20 and Accent. The discounts will be available on cars sold between May 23 and 31, 2012. The scheme is being offered in addition to the 5-star Assurance Scheme announced for the Santro and i10 earlier this month.
Speaking about the offer, Mr. Arvind Saxena, Director Marketing and Sales, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, "The Petrol Lock Scheme will insulate the customer from the impact of the price hike. The price hike is severe and we need to soften the blow for our customers."
