The new special edition celebrates global sales of over 12 lakh units of the popular small car.
The Hyundai i10 has been a grand success not only in India, but also overseas, notably in some of the European markets. Hyundai, in fact, has shipped more than 12 lakh units of the i10 and to celebrate the sales success, the carmaker has introduced a new special edition called the iTech i10.
On the outside, the special edition model gets ‘iTech’ body graphics. Inside, the car features quite a few additional features including steering mounted controls for Bluetooth and the audio system and a rear view camera integrated into the rear view mirror. The latter also comes fitted in the i20 and the Verna.
The special edition iTech i10 boasts of dual tone dashboard and door pads with red inserts. Also, the seats covers are finished in more sporty looking red and beige upholstery. Underneath, Hyundai has made no changes to the engine or the drive-train; the iTech i10, as a result, comes powered by the same old range of 1.1 and 1.2-litre petrol engines. This special edition however will be offered in just two variants - 1.1-litre Era and 1.2-litre Magna.
