Lamborghini teases the Urus SUV concept in the official invitation for the 2012 Beijing Auto Show.
The Lamborghini SUV, which has been talked about on the blogosphere with clamoring interest for quite some time now finally, has a name! It will be called the Lamborghini Urus. That's the official name, according to the reports coming out of the China. Guess, the name 'Diemos' that was recently trademarked by Lamborghini will be used for some other Lambo creation. The Gallardo replacement may be. And like the word 'Diemos', even 'Urus' has got nothing to do with bulls. Atleast not directly, as 'Urus' is the name of an extinct Ox.
Having said all of the above, one can't be sure of the Raging Bull's temperament. So it remains to be seen if the SUV will be called the 'Urus' or not. And we sure hope not! 'Urus' - just does not cut any raw emotion in us that the name 'Diablo' or 'Gallardo' does.
Also, as we inch closer to the opening of the 2012 Beijing Auto Show, Lamborghini has sent an official invitation for the show, which teases the outline of the Urus SUV concept.
The covers will be blown off the SUV concept in few days now. And as usual, OnCars will bring you all the information and updates from the auto show in China.
