Lamborghini president, Stephen Winkelmann, in Mumbai for the launch, hopes to sell 50 cars by 2015.

Italian supercar maker Lamborghini has opened its second dealership in India; first one being the Delhi-based Exclusive Motors. Stephen Winkelmann, the president and CEO of Lamborghini turned up for the showroom inauguration which is based in Prabhadevi, Mumbai. He said that Lamborghini plans to sell around 50 supercars by 2015 here in India and is also considering setting up its own national sales division.
For the Mumbai dealership, Lamborghini has joined hands with Auto Hangar, which also happens to be the biggest Mercedes dealer in Mumbai. The dealership will be home to every Lamborghini supercar currently on sale. What’s more, Mr Stephen Winkelmann, also has high hopes on the recently unveiled Urus SUV for our market.

Lamborghini’s present line-up includes the Gallardo and its bigger sibling, the Aventodar, both of which are available to Indian enthusiasts whose pockets are deep enough to justify the otherworldly price tags.
