Prospective buyers can drive raging bulls for around 45 minutes at the F1 circuit.

The Italian super car maker, Lamborghini is planning to organise ‘Track Day’ at the Buddh International Circuit, later this year. The event will be scheduled around October and November; where in the potential buyers will be able to test-drive Lamborghinis for over 45 minutes at the 5.14-km long race track. The track day will be a closed event through invites only, which will be held every year.
Till now Lamborghini has succeeded in converting 15% of its ‘Track Day’ participation into sales globally and aims to repeat the same in India. This initiative in India is headed by Pavan Shetty - Head of operations of the National Sales Company, under the new department set up for in India.
Stephen Winklemann, president & CEO, Automobile Lamborghini, said, "One of the key factors for improving sales is to bring the people on the circuit. When you see the car you have an idea, but I guarantee that when you drive the car, it is even better. So, there is this factor of freedom and enjoyment when you drive those cars. Driving Lamborghini is about emotion and it is about fun."
