"Deimos" could be the name of Lambo's new SUV or the new Gallardo replacement.

Italian exotic supercar maker has filed paperwork to trademark the name "Deimos" for a new product. The name "Deimos" comes from ancient Greek mythology, where the god Deimos was the son of Ares - the god of war and terror and Aphrodite - the goddess of love, beauty, pleasure and procreation.
Lamborghini has used nearly all of the trademarks it has filed for until now, so we do expect to see the Deimos name tag on a concept or a new production vehicle. The question that remains to be answered is when and on what. Well, there are two possible options - 1) is the Lamborghini's new SUV and 2) the new Gallardo replacement, both of which are awaiting its worldwide debut at the upcoming 2012 Beijing Motor Show and both of which, need a name before they debut. Third possibility is that the name could be given to an altogether unknown concept, which will take form by the end of this year.

Another peculiar thing is that Lamborghini seems to have taken a departure from the whole fighting bulls theme to name their cars, which the carmaker has typically been accustomed too. No one yet, has been able to figure out if there is a connection between the word "Deimos" and bullfighting. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that there is no connection.
Everything seems to be obscure at the moment. Guess, we will have to wait for the 2012 Beijing Motor Show to get underway to get more clarity on the same.
