The Freelander 2 facelift comes with a refreshed exterior design and upgraded equipment levels.

Land Rover’s cheapest offering, the Freelander 2 recently received a slight overhaul in the global market. The company has now launched it here in India with ex-showroom prices ranging from Rs 38.67 lakh to Rs 43.92 lakh for the base SE and the top-spec HSE variant respectively.
The Freelander 2 facelift comes with mildly redesigned bumpers and headlights with LED daytime running lights. On the sides, this new model gets 17-inch, 10-spoke alloy wheels. The car is now available with additional colour options such as Havana and Aintree Green.

Inside, the Freelander 2 facelift gets a premium overhaul, with a redesigned centre console, 7-inch colour touch-screen with premium audio system from Meridian, and a fully integrated navigation system. The Freelander 2 now also gets a rear view camera, adding convenience further.
Under the hood, the Freelander 2’s 2.2-litre TD4 diesel engine can be had in two different state of tunes, with 150PS and 190PS of power. While the base SE variant outputs 150PS of power, the engine in the top-spec HSE variant puts out 190PS of power. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox while Land Rover’s all-time 4WD system is standard on both the variants. All in all, the refreshed exterior design and upgraded equipment levels contribute to make the Freelander 2 more desirable than ever.
