The carmaker was supposed to establish itself in the American market but a number of deterrents made sure it didn't happen.
Leading automobile manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra had gone to America a couple of years ago to offer its products in the American market. It partnered with Global Vehicles USA to set up a dealership network but a number of delays didn't let that happen.

Global Vehicles USA appointed some dealers but as things didn't work out the way they were supposed to, the brand Mahindra couldn't reach America. As a result, the appointed dealers were left without any cars to sell. So they filed a case against the Indian carmaker and after the court took its time to decide, this case has now been given a green signal.
Before this. Mahindra got a respite as a US District Court dismissed one of the cases but now with both the dealers and Global Vehicles USA not on it's side, it will be a bit if Mahindra plans to enter the market again. But before that, it has to clear the current disputes.
