The utility car major expects average sales growth of 10 to 12 per cent this fiscal.

After registering a 44 per cent growth in profit in the last fiscal, Mahindra confirmed its plans to further expand its range and target 10-12 per cent growth in the current fiscal. After the M&M AGM, Pawan Goenka confirmed to media, that the company plans to launch six models in the current fiscal.
He also announced that the company has a capital allocation of Rs 5,000 crore for next three fiscals and will invest Rs 2,500 crore in the group companies in the same period. Although, Mahindra did not divulge many details about the upcoming vehicles, we can be certain about few that will be a part of this list.
The new 5-Seater Xylo Mini and the Verto hatchback will be the first two passenger vehicles to be launched this year. Mahindra Reva will launch the Reva NXR later this year and there is small possibility that the new Scorpio will also be a part of this list, although we predict that it will arrive only in 2014. We think other two or three vehicles will be commercial purpose only and more details should be available closer to launch dates.
