Maruti Suzuki Ritz facelift launched; base-spec diesel now for Rs 5.31 lakh

Maruti Suzuki has launched an updated version of the Ritz which now features a refreshed front-end design with a new bumper, new fog lamp surround and a single-piece grille. All of these subtle changes make the new Ritz look slightly taller and leaner due to lots of vertical lines in the design.

At the back, the sole noticeable change to the design is the addition of a new spoiler apart from a slightly restyled rear bumper. The car is available with three new colors- Mystique Red, Granite Grey and Breeze Blue.

Unlike the previous model, the updated Ritz can be had in top-spec ZDi diesel variant which gets steering-mounted audio controls, alloy wheels, air bags, electrically adjustable rear view mirrors and a new audio system with USB. Other changes to the cabin include redesigned rear seats with improved lumbar support and dual-tone interiors.

The base-spec Ritz LDi is priced at Rs 5.31 lakh while the Ritz VDi and Ritz VDi with ABS are priced at Rs 5.64 lakh and Rs 5.82 lakh respectively. The new top-spec ZDi variant is priced at Rs 6.23 lakh.
