Mercedes Benz E-Class Sport and S-Class Sport to be launched in October

Mercedes Benz India who have launched the all-new B-Class compact sports tourer in the country just few hours back have confirmed that two limited edition models in the form of S-Class Sport and E-Class Sport will be launched in India during the festive season of Diwali, i.e. October 2012.

The details of the upcoming Sport models of the E-Class and the S-Class are limited at the moment. But we reckon that the limited edition models will feature an added AMG Sports package - similar to the one seen on the new C-Class in the form of Mercedes Benz C-Class AMG Performance Edition that was introduced in the country back in June this year.

Just as the Performance Edition C-Class, the E-Class Sport and the S-Class Sport are expected to look and feel more aggressive with sportier exteriors, refined interiors and enhanced driving dynamics. 

Meanwhile, the S-Class is due for a replacement with reports confirming that the 2013 S-Class model will be presented at the upcoming 2012 Paris Motor Show - the spy shots of which were snagged multiple times in the international market. Furthermore, we also got to see the computer rendered images of the new model based on the spy shots not too ago. But it will take a significant amount of time before the new model lands on the Indian shores and therefore, we would have to make do with the S-Class Sport version till then.
