Mercedes-Benz India launches 'Young Star Driver program' for budding racers

The top three drivers will get trained at the Nurburgring in Germany!

Mercedes-Benz India and the FMSCI have a launched a comprehensive program to promote young talent in the world of professional motor racing. Called the ‘Young Star Driver program’, the event gives up-and-coming racers across the country an opportunity to get trained under expert professionals on race tracks.
Open for aspiring drivers between 15 years to 18 years with a racing driver’s license and 18-25 years with a normal license, the program will be conducted in association with the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI).
Mercedes says the selection process for the Young Star Driver program will take place soon, starting with a nationwide evaluation process. Based on different principles, the top 12 drivers will be invited for a 2 day program at the Buddh International Circuit. The drivers will then be tested for their motorsport expertise. Finally, the top 3 drivers will get trained in the SLS AMG GT3 racer at the Nurburgring in Germany!
