Mercedes-Benz inaugurates India's biggest luxury car workshop ever

With 54 dedicated servicing bays, the workshop is capable of servicing 60 cars per day.
Covering a massive area of 100,000 sq. ft. the newly-opened Auto Hangar workshop in Andheri (East) Mumbai is the biggest workshop ever by any luxury carmaker in India. This new highly-advanced facility was inaugurated today by Mr. Peter Honegg, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes Benz India and Mr Mohan Mariwala, Managing Director, Auto Hangar.
The German carmaker has been strongly focusing on expanding its network in the country and this new advanced workshop is a part of the strategy which will allow the company to move closer to the customers. With an aim to provide a fascinating ‘Mercedes-Benz Experience’ to the customers, the workshop was built over a span of 18 months and carries an investment of over INR 520 mn. It boasts of 54 servicing bays capable of servicing 60 cars per day and has about 160 personnel to take care of customers’ requirements.
