The M-Class Guard will go on sale March 15 onwards in both LHD and RHD variants.

With the addition of the M-Class Guard, Mercedes Benz offers the widest range of civilian armored vehicles. The carmaker already sells the S-Class, E-Class and the G-Class under the Guard range of vehicles to help protect high-profile customers from violent criminal acts including gunfire and explosives.
Thanks to its factory-integrated protective features, the M-Class Guard not only provides reassuring protection, but also offers similar levels of comfort and luxury as the standard M-Class. Mercedes says the entire cabin is fully protected with doors and the front structure modified with strengthened elements. While special steel is used for the A, B and C-pillars, as well as in the roof to handle the worst of hazards.
Available in ML350 BlueTEC diesel and ML500 petrol model, the M-Class Guard will go on sale starting March 15 in both LHD and RHD variants. While the ML350 is powered by a 3-litre V6 turbo-diesel engine with 260PS of power and 620Nm of torque, the ML500 gets an even more powerful V8 petrol engine with 400PS of power and around 600Nm of torque. Both the models come shod with 20-inch AMG light alloy wheels with run-flat tires designed for passenger safety. In case the tire is completely flat, the M-Class Guard can still cover a distance of 30km at speeds of up to 80kmph.
