Receives some cosmetic tid bits with no changes in the mechanicals
Mitsubishi has launched a Chrome limited edition of their Outlander SUV. The limited edition gets a larger rear spoiler, side airdam with inlay, chrome plated rear view mirrors and side protection moulding on the exterior and on the interior the SUV gets nine colour combination floor illumination and roof mounted DVD player with display connected to the Rockford music system.
Mitsubishis hasn’t been doing great on the sales part due to the engine options available in India which is just the petrol one, where as all the competing SUV in the same price range are available in diesel. Where competing SUV’s like the Fortuner is selling close to 1060 units last month, Mitsubishi managed to sell just 33 units.
The Outlander is powered by a 2.4 litre MIVEC engine which produces 170PS of power with 226Nm of torque.
