Mitsubishi Pajero Sport launched for Rs 23.53 lakh

Mitsubishi has launched the new Pajero Sport SUV in India, at Rs 23.53 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). As we had confirmed earlier, only one variant of Pajero Sport will be available here, and the bookings open from March 13. The new SUV is powered by 2.5-litre common-rail diesel mill, producing respectable 178PS and a massive 400Nm of torque. The engine is mated to rally proven Super Select 4WD and a five-speed manual gearbox, which will  give ’PAJEROSPORT’ (that is how the badge reads)best in class off-road capabilities. 

The Pajero Sport features include 17 inch-alloy, projector headlamps with self leveling, chrome door handles, rear parking sensor, driver and passenger-side airbags, ABS & EBD with brake boosters, rear wash wipers and defogger and will be available in choice of six body colours. On the inside, the SUV has leather seat covers, leather wrapped gearknob and steering wheel with audio controls, Music player with USB and multi-info display, 60:40 split central row and 50:50 split third row for extra space.

The new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will compete with Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and Nissan X-Trail in India.
