Nissan GT-R from Fast and Furious 6 revealed

Following a brief appearance in the fifth installment of The Fast and The Furious franchise, Fast Five, the latest version of the Nissan GT-R, the R35 has bagged a prominent role in the sixth installment, Fast & Furious 6, which is due for a release on May 24, 2013.  

But don't expect your ordinary GT-R. The model in question that will be seen in the upcoming Hollywood movie has been touched by a dream team of tuners including, R's Tuning, Switzer Performance, Cobb, HKS and BenSopra. 

R’s Tuning and SP Engineering did all the internal modifications for the GT-R. BenSpora was incharge of designing the aerodynamic kit, while Sebon added some visual upgrades to the car. Performance-wise, this electric blue GT-R pounds out nearly 688PS of max power and a massive 820 Nm of peak torque.

The franchise’s sixth chapter revolves around Dominic (Vin Diesel), Brian (Paul Walker) and the rest of the crew attempting to pull off a European heist, while federal agent Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) is trying to track them down. The movie also stars Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson and Gina Carano.

Back in May 2012, actor Vin Diesel had confirmed via his Facebook page that the sixth installment of the Fast and Furious franchise has entered the production phase and is currently taking place all over in Europe. And shortly thereafter, the actor shared a new behind-the-scenes photos on the social networking site, one of which was also used as his cover photo on his Facebook profile page.

We don't know yet as to who will get to drive the Electric Blue Beast in Fast & Furious 6. But we reckon, we will get to know soon as the trailers of the movie are expected to come out in the coming months.
