Nissan Sunny launched in India. Pricing and other details revealed

Nissan has launched the 10th generation Sunny sedan in India today with prices starting at Rs 5.78 lakh for the XE, Rs 6.88 lakh for the XL and Rs 7.68 lakh for the XV! The Sunny is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that returns a claimed fuel economy of 16.95 kmpl. Mr. Gilles Normand, Corp. Vice President, Africa, Middle East & India, Nissan Motor Co. said, "Eith unprecedented levels of sophistication and comfort, we are certain that the Nissan Sunny will redefine the dynamics of the sedan segment in India. We have been able to aggressively position it thanks to localisation in excess of 85 per cent, which also reiterates our commitment to India and the Indian customer." The Nissan Sunny will be available in three variants - XE, XL and XV. Currently available only in India, the Sunny will soon be available with a diesel engine as well.
