Nissan turns up the festive heat; launches Micra Primo special edition

The carmaker has also lined up several offers every week all through the festive season.
As the festive season sets in, it is that time of the year when carmakers attract the buyer with lots of goodies, attractive discounts, and new launches. Nissan, for one, is celebrating the festive season with a special edition model of the Micra hatchback. Called the ‘Primo’, this new special edition model packs in quite a few appealing features however; Nissan has also jacked up the price tag in trade for the added convenience.
For an additional Rs 22,000 over the price tag of the standard Micra, the special edition ‘Primo’ gets you LED lights on wing mirrors, remote controlled ORVM, rear parking sensors, audio system with USB facility and ‘Primo’ decals on either side of the car. Available in only pear white colour shade, the Micra Primo can be had in either petrol or diesel version.

Mechanically, the Primo is no different from the standard Micra and comes powered by the same set of engines – 1.2-litre, 80PS three-cylinder petrol and 65PS, 1.5-litre diesel engines.
To add to the festive celebrations, Nissan is also offering a unique weekly opportunity for customers to get refund on the purchase of both Micra and Sunny. Also, buyers will be entitled to enter contests for a chance to win 500 gms of gold worth Rs 16.5 lakhs at the end of the offer season.
