The first official images of the facelifted sedan have been released ahead of Istanbul debut.
We got the first glimpse of the facelifted Fluence back in June 2012 when spy photographers snagged the images of the test mule in Romania. Soon after, the first clear image of the new model leaked out of a media preview event that was held in Europe. Now however, Renault has released the first official images and information of the 2013 Fluence ahead of its debut at the 2012 Istanbul Motor Show.

On the outside, the facelifted luxury sedan gets a new big logo in the middle of the front grille, redesigned LED daytimers and new chrome/gloss black inserts. On the inside, changes are limited to some new upholsteries and a new digital instrument cluster. In terms of features, the Fluence comes packed with hand-free card with remote central locking, Bluetooth/USB connectivity front and rear parking sensors, automatic parking brake and the Renault R-Link infotainment system.

Engine options include a 1.6-litre petrol engine mated to the familiar X-Tronic CVT automatic transmission. There is also a 1.6-litre, 4-cylinder, dCi 130 diesel unit matched with an EDC 'Efficient Dual transmission' that adds to the already existing dCi 110 EDC unit.

The 2013 Renault Fluence Facelift is expected to go on sale early next year in Turkey and will make its debut in more than 55 international markets, including India.
