Official: Chevrolet to launch Sail sedan on February 1

Last month, Chevrolet India had updated their website with a section dedicated for the upcoming Sail sedan saying that the car will soon grace the Indian market. The carmaker however, didn’t update us on the precise launch date.

Well, thanks to Chevrolet itself we don’t have to wait that long to know the answer. The carmaker has already updated its official micro site for the Sail sedan and the interesting bit of information to be gleaned is that the car will be launched in India on February 1.

Going by the countdown ticker on the official website, we expect the Sail sedan to make its debut on February 1. Besides the launch date, Chevrolet has revealed more information about the car too. 

The engine range includes a 1.3-litre turbo-charged diesel and a 1.2-litre petrol engine. The safety features on the other hand consist of ABS with EBD, speed sensitive automatic door locks, airbags, seat belts with pretensioners, collapsible steering wheel and some more.
